m1 Garands need a home

"Someone should buy them for $220 each"

Remember that is the price if you buy them all and it comes to $18,920,000.00 . No Canadian Importer has that kind of cash laying around. Maybe WaffenFrankonia in Germany could swin it and resell them on the World Market in smaller quantities to our local Importers, but then wilh all the Fees, Shipping, Profit Taking involved, they would certainly cost in the $600.00 to $800.00 range.

Would they take credit?:) I agree, 19 million is a healthy chunk of change but at 600 to 750$ each, what would the profit be? Sounds like a good investment.

Yes, but on average:

- 25% will be total useless junk.

- 25% will have problem and you will need to repair and replace parts.

- 25% will be well worn but still serviceable

- And if you are very lucky the last 25% will be good clean and solid rifles and profit on those will have to be very high to compensate for the rest of the shipment.

But in the end this is all futile musings, since chances are we will probably never see any of these rifles in Canada.

Ha! Canada loves letting illegals, terrorists and criminals in but heaven forbid legal goods like rifles. F*** we have a country of mouth breathing leaders.

You forgot "knuckling dragging, low browed, gutteral mono syllabic, humanoid life forms with the IQ of an amoeba"...in other words...liberal politicians and their supporters...If the liberals were avid hockey, football, baseball, basketball fans would the people voting liberal be..."athletic supporters"?

According to some guys on milsurps who have actually seen these rifles in person, they run the gammut from some being fresh from arsenal rebuilt still in the preservation cans to good only for parts.

Apparently they are already sold to some American company who is having difficulty getting it past their present leftist government.
