i'm not judging him- just making a slight correction- on first read, mine, as most people's, thoughts would be 'WTF is a GRAND?" look at the number of posts and it could be anything- i've heard them referred to as garlands - supposedly named for judy garland - by one old fart shooting a bolt- and it was MY M14

Except for the M1 typed in front of it...I read all 5 of his posts-seemed well thought out and relevant. If you can help with his original question then come be part of the solution. These forums are a great learning and information resource as well as a source of entertainment-If someone with a low post count and/or a zero trader rating asks for help then help!

HAHA, your number of posts on CGN has no relevance to your knowledge of firearms. Forsure, there are new people to the sport on here who are newbies, but give the guy a break.

Valley Gunsmithing in Ottawa does work on them
Valleyguns is in Petawawa.(1.5 hours drive North of ottawa)
Jeff does work on M1 Garands, probably can get barrels too!He is pretty busy right now though, he doesnt do custom work until after hunting season is over!

Thanks for the replies. Sometime you miss a key when you are typing, thanks for pointing it out T-Star. I will try Valleyguns.

Thanks
