M1 gunsmith?

hello guys,

i started a thread in the gunsmithing forum and got no replies so i thought i'd try my luck here.

i am looking to get a breda garand receiver parked then barrel installed and bolt lapped (7.62 build). is there a gunsmith (near edmonton or AB) that can do everything in one place?

Better than talking to me, Give Kevin a call 780-942-4096 Friday evening after 6 or so. He can do the rebarrelling job and there is another fellow out by Redwater that can do a re-park for you.

Better to have the barrel installed and the bolt lapped prior to the re-finishing, it will look better and any small marks we put on the receiver or barrel from the various tools used during the build will be gone after finishing. The bolt lap will have to be re-touched slightly to remove the finish in the lug area but that will take very little time at all.
