M1 sight price help

Hi,

I have an old M1 Garand rear sight that has the Danish naval marking. It's in pretty good condition. I want to put it up in the EE but don't know what it's worth. Any help would be appreciated.

It's tough to answer your question without any photos to go off of. During M1 Rifle production five distinctly different rear sights were produced from 1936-57. There was the flush nut, type I, type II and type III lock bars as well as the post war T105E1. So, depending on which variation is on there, the value will vary drastically. If you know how to attach photos just post a picture in this thread and we'll let you know exactly what you've got. That sight came off of a Dutch navy garand

That's the post war adjustable T105E1 rear sight. My best estimate would be around $75 in that condition but you should research it yourself so that you feel comfortable when putting in up for sale in the EE.
