M10X Flash Hider Removal

Hello Fellow CGNers

I have been trying to remove the flash hider but am having a really hard time getting it off.

I've put the barrel in a vise and tried to remove it using a screwdriver just big enough to fit in the holes but it is not budging, all I got was two broken screw drivers and bleeding knuckles

There are no flat edges on the flash hider to use a wrench on either.

From my understanding the thread pitch is 5/8 X 24

Anyone have any experience with this? Can it even be removed.

It is installed with a compound call rock set.Heat and destroy the thing to get it off is how i removed it.Installed a a2 flash hider it shoots groups better for sure.It is right hand thread 5/8-24 just bloody tight.

Lol, ok that’s exactly what I thought of doing as well. Doesn’t seem to be another way
