M10x - Is it now an improved product?

With all the draconian gun laws in this country, the options for getting back into the 7.62x39 game are extremely limited. That being said, is the M10x of today a better product than the gun that was initially introduced? I have read only horror stories of inaccuracy, unreliability and ammunition fussiness. What is the latest scuttlebutt?

Personal experience...my M10x firing pin broke in the first 250 Rds (full handguard model), had peening on the reciprocating parts in the bolt and carrier. I contacted m10x and they sent me replacement parts that took less than two weeks to arrive from Colorado, over Christmas. 1000rds and counting with the replacement equipment, and no problems. My particular rifle is a 1.25-2.75 moa shooter. One fault I have experienced during the 1000rds was the charging handle coming off during aggressive drills , as it is only held on by a rotating lever (this happened twice, keeping the mechanism free of oil, and correcting my ####ty personal drills seemed to correct the issue). She has eaten all ammo successfully here, and can handle most AK style mags, although I've had issues with promags not seating the rounds high enough for the bolt to pickup.

Definitely can't complain! All rounds were shot sub 250m, so expect accuracy to open up outside of that... just off the "amazing" 7.62x39 ballistics lol.

1.25 - 2.75 moa is very decent for 7.62x39 !

In fairness it's not the caliber that is at fault but the platforms it is so often put through.

My CZ 527 gets 2MOA from 50 year old chinese surplus ammunition. It performs well with newly made ammo too.

7.62x39 get's a bad rep because it gets put through AKs, SKSs, Type 81s and poorly made M10X rifles.

No issues at all with mine.
I ordered a stronger hammer spring in hopes of getting less light primer strikes on surplus ammo, but seems to be wearing in, when I bought it was every second shot, now every 5th or so. Il see if spring fits once I get it.
Otherwise I like it , great fit and finish, I don't have a scope on mine but accurate enough for my purposes, fit and finish is great, not one single jam and over 500 rds through it.
Customer service is garbage if you ever need them. Both north sylva and the company itself. Neither bothered to respond to me after numerous emails and calls.
Otherwise I give the gun a thumbs up.

Totally agree, often shooter error as well...my biggest fault haha. I meant more toward its downrange performance, the projectile shape itself limits it's capabilities compared to other rounds with the same function...still one of my favs though, even corrosive lol!

Did you have any abnormal wear on the bolt and carrier?
