So, long enough time m10x owner, had over a year now, took it out a few times but never seriously zeroed or tried for any accuracy. Had it out last week trying to get a decent zero with multiple brass and steel cased ammo, american eagle, ppu, barnaul, norinco red box, even fancy geco stuff.
Super reliable, didn't love pmags, steel mags awesome. Laughable groupings. Not sure if it's the optic, swapped out the red dot and magnifier (both holosun) for an actual scope afterwards, haven't taken it back out yet.

I'm trying to find out information about that screw on the handguard, but my forum searching skills are really lacking. Does that thing have anything to do with the accuracy? Is it supposed to be torqued down to a certain number? Am I just retarded? I desperately want to still love this thing, but would like to be able to stretch it out past 50 yards.

Thanks for any help.

Ok took it out again today, torqued down, even brought the fat wrench out with me. Even measured the barrel in relation to the handguard and it was dead center. off front bag and rear bag, frightening accuracy again, like buckshot accurate. Guess it's time to email the company.

How tight does the handguard fit over the receiver? Mine was so tight I could barely separate the 2 but it seems like the only true connections between the handguard & receiver/barrel is the pin that holds the upper and lower together + the grub screw you were asking about.

Hopefully this summer I can take it out to 200 yards and I'd love to be able to compare groupings with you. Take some pictures next time.

The first mistake was getting an m10x with a review out there like this one: https://youtu.be/PA1oegJ11z8
Fast forward to about 10 minutes to start seeing the bad parts.
Fast forward to 32ish minutes for that same review to go over accuracy issues - basically the shots rock left and right a great deal at 50m.

Hope you have better luck than this reviewer who sent theirs back numerous times
