It hurts my brain that people still don't understand the concept of "the AR15 and all variants (including AR10 models at this time) are restricted by name"

Nothing short of an order in council can chang this as we know the RCMP will not willingly change their minds.

The only glimmer of hope we may have is that NEA is pushing the NEA25 for a status review based on lineage since the orginal AR10 predates the AR15 theoretically making it impossible for the AR10 to be a variant of the AR15. That fight will be a long dirty one though, with only a sprinkle of hope.

It was rethoric question. I was just creating a reason to not buy. Come on...it is obvious that it is restricted lol

Oh geeze. An SR-25 sure would look good with my SR-15 I just purchased on the EE. If only I had $ left...

For now I'll just have to look at the pictures.

Any plans to bring in anything else from the 25 line?
Does anyone know if they are planning anything shorter than 16" for the 25?

This M-110 sure is interresting, could make a dandy rig coupled to a S&B 3X27X50, this as put me in a thinking mode... JP.

That thing is sick.
If only I could justify buying that. Somehow.
Even if I could, to only be able to shoot it at the range? No way.

This. I am really contemplating to get it but the thought of it being a $6000 restricted is holding me back. Stupid gun law! Too much of a risk.

yep.
Me want
Me too broke

Maybe Caramel will buy it for me with the one of the 30 pillow he sleeps on that are stuffed with hundred dollar bills.

Winner of the U.S. Army award as one of the "Best 10 Inventions" of 2007, the M110Semi-Automatic Sniper System (M110 SASS) is a precision 7.62mm NATO caliber, gas-operated rifl that is regarded for its battlefied performance. An evolution of the original Mk11; the rifle's accuracy, 20-round detachable magazine, ambidextrous controls, abundant MIL-STD 1913 rail mounting capabilities, and effective sound suppressor contribute to the system's combat success. Like the Mk11,the heart of the M110 system is a match-grade 20 inch free-floating 5R cut rifled barrel. Each of these 110 limited edition systems is individually marked and is to come as issued by the U.S. Army.
