Hi i just found this interesting upgrade for Benelli m4. I was looking for the website of sidearmor who made very hight quality rail and side saddle for the benelli m4 available in Canada at Armtac. I found out that they now selling under Asgard Defense:tactical shotgun solution.

Now, they built a new receiver that incorporate your original Benelli m4 component. It's pricey at 1850$ upgrade + the price of your benelli. Personnaly i don't think it worth the cost but it could be a valuable upgrade for someone who have it all and wanted to be different while having a ar-15 feel. It can't be bought for now since in US, but just wanted to share this new product

Close.... you just need the oversized bolt release and a bigger safety. :) The bolt release is actually the best money I've spend on my M4. Your stock and magazine tube are spot on though... :)

The bigger safety and bolt release seem a bit gimmicky to me. Especially the bolt release, it is a 20$ upgrade that people sell for a ridiculous amount. IIRC they go for 140$?

I thought the bolt release was a bit of a gimmick too until I installed it. Makes it MUCH easier to quickly close the bolt - especially with gloves on. For a lefty its pretty quick ... Slap it with the palm as your hand is heading out to the forend.

You're right about pricey. If I had more skills I'd just buy the bigger pad that needs the original drilled and tapped ($20). It'd be the same thing for MUCH less! It was worth it for $140 for me. Spent more on more useless crap before. :)

I more often rack the bolt than use the bolt release button. I'm sure it's faster... not 140$ faster. I'd hate to think people are taking advantage.

That's just dumb - take a gun that everyone (I've never seen a single bad review in many, many years) says is the best semi-auto shotgun made, charge people enough to buy another very good shotgun (like an M2) and make the original shotgun WORSE? I think not.
