M14 Advise Needed

The rail that I am currently using on my M14 is causing it to stovepipe. A reliable and reputable source has recommended that I settle for nothing less then a Smith Enterprise, however, the price is more than I can afford right now. Does anyone have any experience with either the ARMS #18 or the MARSTAR deluxeTactical Scope Mount.
