Hi, I'm having a hard time finding 168gr 7.62x51 NATO, as far as I know the twist is 1:12. Does this exist or does everyone just shoot the surplus 148gr stuff. Just wondering what to feed my norinco m14, it's chambered 7.62, I know it's a norinco but was wondering if I can get better accuracy out of it with a heavier grain.

Let me know, thanks.

168 grain Hornady HPBT Match ammo shot very well in my M305. It was almost as good as my 168 grain handloads. Dont get hung up on 7.62 vs 308, they both shoot well in our rifles.

I was informed you shouldn't shoot .308 in a7.62 chamber due to commercial ammo having more pressure, not sure if that's what you meant.

Thank you for the suggestion, what does it run cost wise?
