M14 and M305 barrel threads question

AFAIK the screws and other threads are metric on norinco and standard on M14 but i dont find about barrel threads

So my question is simple did the M1/M14 and M305 barrel threads are the same and compatible???

More or less. Final indexing, headspacing may require adjustment.

The barrel threads that thread into the receiver are the same. The flash hider and gas lock threads on the Chinese rifles are different than USGI.
