M14 and m305 stock liner screw threads?

i have an anussual question.
i d like to know what is the thread pitch on stock liner screw on m14?
it looks like 10/32?
does norinco m305 has the same 10/32 screws or are they metric pitch

metric but really, the steel the stockliners are made of is not super hard and can easily be tapped to whatever thread pitch you want. I have a custom composite stock that I used a modified stock liner in and I redrilled and tapped so I could use a 1/4 x 28 button head allen bolt. Looks cool too ;)
 
According to my thread pitch gauges.......

This stock liner came out of a Nork plastic stock,

The thread pitch is between .7 & .6.... And it doesn't match any of my sae thread pitches either.....

The screw is .192" or 4.91 mm

I'm gunna guess, the screws are a M5x.65

45ACP had it right...... Re-thread and use a different fastener!
