M14 bayonets

I just got my M305 refitted with a bayonet lugged flash hider, and I would like to know what is available for M14 pattern bayonets.

Any help here is much appreciated.

M6 bayonet and scabbard are available, look on EE,Gunbroker,Ebay just to name fews. I got this bayo on Ebay for $65.

They do show up from time to time on the EE, but most if not all shops that had M-6 bayonets in Canada seem to have been cleaned out of them. Your best bet at the moment would probably be to get one from the states.

Keep Shooting sells NIB bayonet and scabbard. Very nice.

NOTE : These wont fit on a factory shorty though....as the gas plug hits the handle of the bayonet.

Rumour Control has it that "someone" might fab up a modified gas plug, the length of which will accommodate the bayonet.

Frumpy lives nearby and he got one and I mentioned trimming the end of the gas plug a bit as it almost goes on....HUNGRY told us to put down the dremmel and step away from the rifle..lol

It wouldnt take much to get it to fit as its pretty close.
