M14 bolt roller tool

crap I have no idea where mine are.....
I made mine from another tool but ya, when ya need one..... ya need one.
I would try m14medic or tactical teacher, maybe they have a loaner?
 
when I needed one I got one of those cheap flat electrical pliers , and ground to fit. still a battle. figure out why the roller failed first.

Replacing the roller will not solve the issue of the roller mashing into the receiver.

SAI warranty is covered by Grech Outdoors. I recommend that you send in the rifle if you want to maintain your warranty....

All of the roller tools I have ever seen were handmade. I only have the one, and only use it 2-3 times a year.....
 
ya I agree , that is a clear cut warranty issue.
How old is the rifle?
Springfield claims they stopped sending out rifles with that issue yet it is one of the most common issues with their rifles.

the receiver is out of spec below the roller and needs to be remachined and heat treated
 
well its an older rifle. its already been on the mill and had a spot relieved out. didn't take much now I need to make a tool to put the roller on it looks like
