New to the forums and was looking for some advice on a M14 build
So I am looking to build short to mid range unrestriced ( blackish) Battle Rifle ( Looking at max ranges to be about 500m ) and was looking at building this and was just wondering on any advice on the matter.
So here it is
Rifle----------Norinco M14/305 Shorty
Stock--------The M14/M1A Blackfeather® "RS" Rifle Stock
--------------M14/M1A "LSP"
--------------Blackfeather RS Quick Detach Sling Swivel Set ( not need can always jerry rig but it is there just cause)
--------------M14/M1A Black Arrow Op Rod Spring Guide
--------------Phoenix Technology Tactical AR-15 / M4 Stock w/ Commercial Tube Black-
--------------Tapco AR SAW style pistol grip, Dark Earth
Sights--------UTs-15 front and rear Sight ( want fixed not flip up style)
--------------45 DEGREE OFFSET RAIL MOUNT/WEAVER STYLE *2
Optics--------Trijicon Accpoint 3-9x40 (love the no batteries and have first hand knowledge on the ACOG so I am willing to trust the accupoint)
--------------Riflescope Trijicon® Quick Release Mount ( expensive just dont have much experiance with civillian systems so went name brand here)
( Was also looking at the leupold patrol 3x9)
and looking for a Mil system optic
Optional-------NC Star AR/M16 Bipod
--------------ATI Forend Pistol Grip
Just looking for some advice from persons more experianced with the M14 systems I have shot the Norinco (Bare bones) before and I like and trust the rifle.
Just doing some really quick math and I think it will be sitting around 12lbs give or take. I have read around alot about people griping about the weight but I am used to a heavier system weighing about 12kg so weight is not much of a concern.
I think total cost will be arouns $3400
Any advice would be good
