Wondering when your planning on coming back out to Calgary for another clinic? What kind of numbers do you need to make it viable on your end?

As many of you know (or may not know), I'm working full time in Construction (full time after my 30 years in the classroom, retirement) and time off is gonna be touch and go. Life was a lot easier driving across the country (FIVE times, now) during the summer months.

Now that I'm in this field of construction, time off ; one month at a time will be hard to come by.... so, who knows what my schedule will look like. Wish you guys coulda joined us Saturday 10 Sep 2016 at the TSE!

We shall see how this new job pans out.....

A bit of a late comment but, have you considered training someone or a few people in various areas to run clinics based on your teaching? Might be a way for you to be in more places at once and make a little cash off of the various clinics. Just a thought. Cheers Dan

After over 75 clinics from Squamish, BC to Halifax, NS and many points in between I've had a few thousand experts sprinkled in every province willing to help newbies seeking information on this addiction...They are all here in the MBR Forum and I could not be any happier with this fine community. We have much to celebrate here.

Bruce Lee said it best, "Don't count what you don't have, count on what you do have.".

We are blessed. All one has to do is ask for some help and you will have all of our /my community behind you....We did a good thing around here!

Hope this helps...

Cheers

Hey Barney.. Can you give us a list of tools and where to buy them for Norinco/IDF barrel swaps??
Most of us do some tweeking but barrel indexing and head space is not something many do.
Undecided on what to try and build or to send off to others??

Hungry here (Tactical Teacher):

Brownells is your source. Just do a search "M1A Wrench" "M1A Barrel Vise"

No limit on tools (can you say ITAR?) crossing the border to Canada....

Cheers,
Barney

My 305 needs some help! alas....where is a guru when you need one...
YYC'ers keep your eyes open.

Okay, you YYC dudes....

I'm just waiting to hear back from TSE-JR to confirm Saturday 25 Nov 2017 for another YYC M14 Clinic. Yup, I made sure it was not during Ontario's Rifle season (which I had to forego last 2016, since I was working in Construction).

This year I got my tags and I am not working that time of the year.

So the 25th Nov 2017, so far, but I just have to confirm with JR at TSE and then we can formally announce it and begin taking registrations....

Cheers,

Hello Barney, Any plans for Vancouver- Sea to sky. Maybe on your way to see someone related? Please. Cheers, rb2

I need a location/classroom and a pointman/organizer on the ground and then I can arrange the rest. Back in 2013, I was able to swing down to Squamish GC for a clinic and then drive BACK to Calgary for another TSE (location sponsor) for another clinic and then started my way back home to Ontario.

Lately with my time constraints, I've got to fly out West for any clinics. Between PR matches in Petawawa, CQB matches in Borden, and shooting a PR match at Borden, I don't have the window of time anymore. AND I am retired.... That's how busy I've been... It's all good!

Cheers;

People tell me they can't believe they had time to work before retirement! I'm thinking you can a attest to that. Wish I had the room and time to organize. I was lucky to attend your clinic in Kelowna. Thanks for all you do Barney.

To all,

I can confirm Saturday 25 Nov 2017 for another YYC M14 Clinic.

The classroom is booked for this and we will provide lunch to all participants.... Plus of course have the coffee on!

Cheers,

JR

I'm back from a PR match in Garrison Petawawa and it's time to crank out a post for this clinic. I'm flying back to YYC, once again.... instead of driving like I've been doing for a long while....

Stay tuned...

Please push it into december that is right in my one week of white tail deer hunting in Saskatchewan. I'll drive out for it!
