M14 Clinic on Vancouver Island?

Ask M14 Doctor... he might have you drive to Interior BC with his schedule. I cannot go any western canada M14 clinics since I'm down in New Zealand right now and my schedule the remainder of August is quite tight. Maybe next summer I can do another road swing through Alberta, MB , and BC.... who knows? :D

I've been trying to get something together with the doc in either Nanaimo or Campbell River even but most of the local interest I get in the m14 platform is not enthusiastic to ask the M14doctor to come all the way out here for. I know he won't do anything in Vic but I'm pretty sure hes willing to come out elsewhere on the island. If you can get the people together count me in for sure.
 
I'll be on the island at least twice in august for 5 days each trip.
Cambell river area would be awesome. I'll be travelling to tahsis so can maybe stay over an extra day on way back.
If someone wants to organize somethin, pm me
 
How about Port Alberni ? I know a hall there that could be had reasonably, hotels are cheap if you're overnighting from north or south island. Lets not let this opportunity get away!
 
I can do port alberni , love it there. Will make it a weekender and bring my river fishing gear :)
Last weekend of august "might" work, 1st weekend sept for sure would work

I shall make the effort to travel that far from Victoria to attend one of your seminars. I shall pencil it in for one of those two weekends; I trust this'll get firmed up as time passes...?

I'll start a new thread once we confirm something. Haven't done a clinic in a while, lookin forward to it now :D
 
Calgary is kinda Hungry's thing as he has a group he has worked with on several clinics. I would be willing to come and put on a clinic if need be but not till end of November at earliest

Thomas: Feel free to go for it. My schedule is quite full as many of you in the Service Rifle and Service CQB have witnessed. I'm busy almost 3 weekends of the month running matches. My wife gives me grief about that 4th weekend to motorcycle so I need some time off from the range.

I'm hoping to drive across the country AGAIN like I did during the summer of 2010, but who knows? :D

This summer, my mom sprang this Aus/NZ/Fiji trip on me and I could not turn down that once in a lifetime opportunity... so there went any possibility of doing ANY M14 clinics. :)

At least when things settle down this winter, I can do a couple more local Ontario M14 clinics once again... :cool:

Now if only I could get rid of this stupid jet lag.... :redface:

I'm moving Sept 1st so that's out for me :(

I'll drive anywhere up to Campbell River from Victoria, but no further. That covers like 95% of the population on the island.

I still say Nanaimo is the best, it's central and I have a girlfriend there lol
 
Guys I'll be in gold river starting the 22nd of august then back to 100 mile via the ferry at nanaimo at the end of that week. I will have saturday and sunday availlable. This is the last weekend that falls in august.
Port Alberni would be excellent for me but maybe we could do cambell river saturday and alberni sunday.
Have jeep, will travel.
Each location needs a point man to arrange a facility.
An appropriate facilty can range from a hall, range club house, backyard shop ect.
If someone can point man cambell river and enough mid island folks are interested, say 10 or more.... Let's do it

As for alberni.... It's a short drive in my opinion, from anywhere on the south island.
I'm at yer service ;)
