colour scheme

I wanted to throw this out there to the CGN masses.

Since I can't leave well enough alone I have decided to Cerakote a rifle. The problem is I can't decide on a colour scheme. Looking for suggestions from all of you. I have on hand;

Socom Blue
Graphite black
Coyote Tan
OD Green
Burnt bronze
tactical grey
Titanium

Any suggestions?

What are you planning on doing with the rifle? Partial to flat black myself.
Cerakote(there's a Ceracoat for fabrics too. Not the same thing.) is not terribly expensive($18Cdn per pound) you don't really need a blaster of any kind. Cerakote of just paint that gets baked on.

ceracote need to be grit blasted with #100 aluminuim oxide. bead blasting will not work as it peens the metal and ceracote needs a little ruffness to adhire. very good instructions on there web site. so far i have only used graphite black. the product is very durable and not hard to use.

Ok to clarify. it's not a true bead blaster. it is a grit blaster. I have done several shotguns and long rifles and even my nz85 pistol and had absolutely no issues with the durability of the finish.

Right now I am leaning towards going socom blue on the steel since I have not yet tried that colour and od green on the stock. But tactical grey steel is appealing too.

i'm a one colour kind of guy. i mostly use it on hunting rifles that are in the weather a lot. they tend not to rust after coating.

I used Krylon camo. All sealed Under a coat of matte clear ''ArmaCoat''..

Going to do socom blue cerakote on the steel and either od green or tan krylon on the stock. Will try to get pictures up tonight. just going to spray the steel in a few minutes.
