Great units but Hawk wont ship to Canada
I've got a growing pile of connector rods , these can be added for that full authentic look. Takes some mcgyverin but done right it looks like the real deal. I have'nt ordered a dummy kit in a while but last one I did order also came from brownells.

Will a connecting rod work on a norc receiver? I know you need a oprod with a cut out in it for the connector to hook in. Any one with a full auto M14 care to show how it all fits together???
Well, the dummy kit just screws into the stock and fits fine with the chinese action. The connector arm is another story.
You need a oprod with the usgi cutout.
You need to shave material from an area at the front of the connector. The usgi receiver has a groove that the norc doesn't.
The connector arm has a small tab on the back at the mid point. This must be removed.
- the connector arm needs the back end cut off then tig welded to the dummy kit.
- comparing the two units prior to cutting will allow you to cut in the right location.
That's the best way I can explain marrying a usgi connector arm to a dummy kit like the "hawk's dummy kit"

When I made my dummy selector I took a die grinder and made the connector cut out on my Norc op rod.........The Gun-Koted it. It worked and fit prefectly..........
