I've got one on my garage floor, Brian. it's yours if you can find it lol.

Seriously I will have a look bu I sold off all my parts.

well, believe it or not I found the extractor plunger and spring so, clean up everything re assemble.

let me back up some a bit this is a new rifle to me 07 nork. looks great. lost the bolt extractor on the third shot the first time. found the extractor at my feet on the ground. looked really hard the next day and found its spring and plunger in the same spot

so clean up, re assemble. everything looks and seems fine. out the door to test it. watching things this time. second shot it came apart again. this time things all inside the gun. so, what gives. here are some pics. beside it is a USGI bolt cant see much diff in spaceing and stuff. only noticeable thing is the ejector spring is quiet weak, but that shouldn't affect the extractor?

any ideas are helpful. never had one do this to me before

previous owner 2-300 rounds im shooting norc copper wash

Bingo...you found the cure. That's what usually causes this problem. As you mentioned, just filing a bit off the leg so it doesn't protrude any more usually fixes it.

Well, I have to fess up and say that was my rifle.
However, I just fired mild cast bullet loads without any problems.
Hope it lasts a good long time now.
