I have an M305 that I just placed a GI M14 stock on and of course you need the Faux selector switch in order to close off the stock/action.

Is the a Canadian source? Or anyone willing to sell one or two?

Or do I need to go through Brownell's?

I may need to order one of these also.

the hole in the stock doesn't look as good as it could.
Its to bad someone didnt make up some birch peices to exactly fit those cutouts and just glue them down before refinishing it and sand it smooth.

There's a machine I think they call it a 3-D imaging
I wonder if it could scan the stock and produce the peace
There could be a market for that.
I hand curved one out of foam I was going to try and sand cast it in aluminum but didn't turn out so well.

Brownells has them and they do ship them to Canada, I have 2 and they are both quite nice. I have not seen them for sale anywhere else. Brownells is your best bet.

^^There you go^^ And maybe someone could 3D print a fake selector, to make them more available in Canada.

That would be really good idea, but make the full dummy kits like Sparrow Hawk does on m14forums, he sells them with the button or the switch plus the connector rod, he just cant ship em into Canada anymore.

3d printers are cheap relatively anyways, its making or getting the 3d blueprint, although software has recently come around that can use a camera to scan the models.

If a person could make back about 700$ or so profit it would pay for a medium quality and size 3d printer.

The 3d printing material have come a long way also their is some fairly durable materials out now.

The fake/faux switch is clunky, ill fitting and heavy. To each his own.
