M14 Handgaurd Clip?

I have acquired a second fibreglass stock but there is no retaining clip for the handgaurd. Anyone source these? Better yet...anyone have a spare they don't mind giving me? I know the original stocks come with them.... if anyone is ditching their oem stock, I' d appreciate getting the clip.

"giving me one" ??? They aren't free!


Contact MikeBaker1129. He may have some left. He will charge for them (sensibly enough).
 
I was just saying that the OEM stocks are being sold for $20-$40 and some are being scrapped. I don't want to pay $25 for a clip and then freight and taxes on top of that. I'm still waiting for a member to get back to me if he has any ~$12 or so. Not a prob there, but I'll swap my one clip back and forth before spending $ 25 for one. Besides, if you don't want to "give me one" don't! I said source or give (as in if someone is ditching a stock I'd like the clip).

I'm sure that the hundred cd's of Hungry's DVD clinic that Bernse burned and shipped to members weren't free either but he GAVE THEM AWAY to anyone who asked for one, all in thre spirit of CGN and helping fellow firearms enthusiasts.

When I invite first time shooters to the range I don't charge them for firing my ammo or using my guns.

Generousity is obviously not a trait that all of us have......

Even if they burn or give away the original stock, people usually keep the handguard and clip or sell them separately. My replacement USGI fiberglass stock didn't come with the handguard and clip.
