Tried a 30cal M1 Frontier CMJ bullet with some H4895. NICE! Except, I maxed out my Lee Double Disc at 43.2gr. Going to try to put two fences together to make a triple disc setup.
The bullets grouped nice without even trying. They fed well being a RN design.
The load was just a bit too light so the brass didn't eject properly, a la pistol stovepipe.
10% lighter for the CMJ should put me around 45-46 grains for a max load. What think? Should be enuff and still shoot good and stop the stovepipes?
Note... open to other powders except Varget since that one sells out too fast. Love that powder. H4895 seemed like a good second choice but open to suggestions.
