Hi, guys....found a good deal on M14/M1A NM Op Rod Spring Guide...
how good is this spring guide???
please advise should I buy it or leave it along???

If it's a Rooster33 one piece rod, get it.

If not, don't waste your time and money.

Rooster's spring guide is the cats ass, and superior to even the real GI NM guide.

USGI NM spring guides are welded, which can anneal the part that engages the magazine causing it to soften and wear out more quickly. The Rooster33 part is machined from a single piece of metal. Myself and many other CGN M14 owners swear by them.

Also make sure that the guide doesn't bind inside an issue Norinco spring..you may also need to get a GI spring... which might still bind fwiw AP

Yes get a Rooster33 guide and a USGI spring.

I recommend a chrome silicone spring from David Tubb, rather than a USGI spring.
