Okay, I've had many, many questions on where to find the replacement pin (roll pin) for your op rod guide that might have a bit of motion on the barrel.

The factory Norc/Poly roll pin sometimes breaks or shatters due to it's thin wall depending upon which high school  shop class put your rifle together. Often the pin will break during your disassembly process.

The pin size is 1/8" x 3/4" long... they can be found at Industrial Hardware or Fastener Supply, but try buying ONE or TWO of them, and the counterperson will laugh / giggle at you. :D

I will be happy to send you a spare in at no expense ! I needed a few but the supplier said, "You MUST buy 200 of them." :) So I did and now I have a whole whack of them.

So if you happen to break yours and cannot find a replacement, message me and I will hook you up! I need your mailing address and I will mail out right away.

In order to tighten up your op rod guide, knock out the old roll pin, dimple the contact surfaces all around the barrel with a center punch/hammer combination then slide on the op rod guide... feel how much tighter things are? Keep dimpling with happy faces all around the barrel until the op rod snugs up nicely. Then line things up and hammer your/my new 1/8" x 3/4" long pin. Life is good. :)

That should prevent yer #### from falling off !

Cheers and warm regards,

Barney

I bought one and paid with debit, my proudest moment :)

This was at the "Do It" center in Victoria. A girl asked me once where that place was lol I'd get banned if I posted my response

The originals work great, but this one is nice...

I found that mine had two different diameter holes drilled in it. The hole running through the rifle barrel was a smaller diameter than the hole through the op rod guide. A very perplexing situation indeed. To Fix, I used an old mechanic's trick, taught to me by an old mechanic. used two hammers, got son to hold two peening punches. Hit the two peening lunches at the same time and voila, the void was compressed by the expanded pin, on both sides. No problem since.
