Picked a 20/5 round m14 mag (chinese I assume). Last round jumping out of mag. And follower binding. Any others have this problem and know of a solution to fixing this?
Thanks.

The last round jumping out of mag is likely the mag lips being a tick too open. Tweak 'em with fine needle nosed pliers.
The follower can be anything from the wrong follower to a burr or the 'pin' being wrong. I'd take out the spring, if you can, and run the follower up and down to see where and what's causing it to bind.

Get a reliable functioning magazine and do some side by side comparisons using snap caps. Then as already said by sunray, gently massage then with a nice set of needle nose to conform with the good mag. I had issues with late import ones with the rivets being out of spec. With a gentle massage all is well.

I got 2 mags like that. ####ty feed lips were to wide. Tight to get in the mag well too. If u can compare them to the norinco mags and see if there is a difference

Think I may have issue solved. Pulled follower and spring. Found burr on follower, spring binding on housing. Also found mag was riveted so you could just barley get the 5th. round in. Out came the dremal and things are much smoother.
Thanks.

Good to hear. Seems those newer riveted mags have some issues. Nothing a little elbow grease won't fix either. All the older 5/20's with the follower lance are flawless IMO.
