M14 mag problem

Hey guys,
I recently bought some mags for my norc and I have one that won't fit in the gun.
Really tight fit and doesn't click in place.
It has BRW S-I stamped on the bottom of the side with the tab.
Only difference between the two I can see is the BRW one is a slightly darker shade and the tab has 6
Dimples not 5.
Anyone know what the deal is?

That BRW is a USGI unit as you may have recognized. I'm jealous.

Some of the Norc trigger groups have mag catch(es) that might be a little bit long. Sometimes an 8" flat file is your friend for that mag tab. Just gentle filing along the BOTTOM of the magazine tab that's welded on the rear of the magazine. That's all it takes.

Took your advice when I got home this morning,(nite shifts suck) and filed that tab.
After a bit of filing it was still tight but with a good shove it clicked, and which it wouldn't before.
Some more filing and now it clicks on its own. I think I'll take a tiny bit more off just to make it smoother.
