M14 MOD questions

Is it possible to aquire sopmod/airsoft stocks to fit a norinco m14? from looking on the web I have found some pretty cool mods for m14's

My question is,,,, are these stock legal in canada and just how hard is it to aquire these stocks?

I woudnt recommend that unless your a candidate for the darwin award!

Now I have heard of people acquiring rails for the m14.

You might need some fitting but I hear they work out just as good.
 
Rule of thumb: Don't mix Airsoft and Firearms. Airsofts don't really have recoil. Real guns do, especially the .300+ calibres! Airsoft bits and pieces aren't meant to take the kind of pounding the real deal pieces are designed for.

Ok,, I am not going to put a pellet gun stock on a centerfire rifle, I am confused when I do a search on the net for m14 stocks and I get hits that come back airsoft stocks/mods. I am talking about stocks like this? sorry for the confusion

What's the worst that can happen if the stock on an M14 fails? Provided you do the proper tests on assembly, all you are really in danger of is a nasty pinch.

This is a 10 pound, gas-op .308 not a .577 Tyranasaur. I have a folder installed on mine, it can be fired from the hip, or if I rest the forend I can and have fired it with one hand (cause I don't have the wrist strength to hold it up).

Yes but its a real gun, not airsoft
 
I've put a AirSoft vertical grip on my AR once & after 300rds, the whole thing started to smoke & just broke off from the rifle.

Pay the xtra $$ & get the real deal!
