Easy question, good or garbadge? I mean I wouldn't expect much from a 180$ mount+scope setup. Any inputs?

Please don't buy. I have wasted lots of money over the years on stuff like that. For the M14 the best is an ARMS#18. I have also had good luck with the Sadlak and ( surprisingly ) a properly installed SA Gen III. The M14/M1A is also hard on scopes. I currently run an Elite 4200 Tactical 6-24x50 but the Elite 3200 10x has also served me well on these type of rifles.
 
Wolverine supplies sells the Arms#18 though i called Wanstalls here in BC to see if they could get one for me even though they are not listed on the web site. Sure enough, Wanstalls had one to me in 5 days. These are not cheap mounts, so expect to pay around the $180 marks.
 
Talked to wolverine last week they don't expect any in till June. I went with the Hi lux mount they also carry. Will give it a shot.

You could also try the promag copy It works just fine give Jerry at mystec a call thats where I got mine

I have 1 of those heavy aircraft aluminuim mounts from Marstar(gift) I haven't put it yet as I do not have a scope yet. So my 1st question
1. Are these Marstar mounts any good ?

2. What is a good but crazy priced scope for my M14 ? (as I hear they kick the s@#t out of scopes)

Not to Hijack the post, but my question really has a lot to do with this one so I figured i'd just ask it here.

I can confirm Wolverine Supplies do not expect shipment of ARMS 18 mounts till after June, and Wanstalls also has an order on Backorder (read: out of stock), thus I am wondering if anyone knows who may still have them in stock.

I've got the $ in my pocket and its burning a hole :)
