M14 'smith in Upper Fraser Valley?

As I'm sure I mentioned before , I'm a n00b so I'd like to have someone who's qualified give my M14-s a once over to be sure everything is kosher esp headspace. Any suggestions who could do this for me in my area?

One other question. When I broke the gun down the op rod spring was straight, when I reassembled it the spring was a bit wavy like it was slightly over compressed. Is this something to be concerned about?

you can come out to one of our monthly m14 gatherings... here in surrey. Feb's meeting is booked up but there will be another in march. I have nearly all m14 related tools.... but my headspace guages are not here yet. The work done to your rifle at these meetings is free and you get to meet some pretty cool folks at the same time.

Thanks 45ACPKING I will for sure take you up on that. If anyone bails on the February meet let me know.

My main worry was whether it's safe to run .308 cause I NEED to get this thing out, I can't just sit on it. I suspect the odds of it blowing up in my face are pretty slim but I'm not too sure how concerned I should be.
