I own a Norc M14 with USGI stock but am looking to get more of a tactical or even AR style stock for it. I am looking for links and information but the kicker is I do not want to spend 600+ dollars so I am looking for less expensive options. I will make it clear though that I am not looking for a piece of crap, used is even fine as long as it is something that will last.

I already canhear what a few will be thinking, you get what you pay for. That may be true but I am just looking to get more information and input from the people on here that seem to know far more than I do about these rifles. Being in the middle of farmland Sk. means there is really no one around here and no buisiness' that can help me. Any input, links, thoughts would be valuable guys!!!!
 
Get in touch with 45ACPKING for a custom AR-style stock for your M-14, as a matter of fact he is making one for me right now :D
 
I agree, $600 bucks? Pfffffft. I am tired of seeing prices like that. Aluminum in this country is cheap. CNC time isn't...nor is the design process, but once you' ve programmed it in and experimented, these stocks are very, very profitable, like printing money. Add $400 for the word "tactical?" Oh man, I kill myself...I have to design one of these stocks and get r-r-r-rich sellem' for $349.00ea. (CAD, yes Canadian) undercutting Sage and Troy!! LMAO...
 
Sorry but I have messaged him with no reply for some time now. Must be busy so I thought I would start checking into what other options there are. I love the sage/troy/even the pistol grip USGI style just don't want to pay top dollar since it is a want not a need. like most other M14 related stuff.....:cheers:

45ACPKING is getting busy, but don't worry, he ALWAYS replies... Eventually :)

If you cannot wait, I recall seeing some Vltor pistol grip stocks f/s in the EE by Morpheus32 at $850 a piece? (shameless plug, but not mine :))

Not quite the same price... but the same ballpark, and i know for sure they will be well below the competition. I will be tackling that stock after I bring the 10/22 one to a prototype I, and most people, are happy with. I'm figuring out lots of little tricks along the way with this 10/22 stock, which will just make the m14 stock a better product by the time its ready hopefully :)

It's not his design, he buy a EVO from me and copy 95 % and check the price is not lower price.

295 $ for a EVO copy, do you thing they can made Troy copy for 300 or 400 $ ?

I made parts and it's not easy, need prototype, time, CNC don't made all the job.
