m14 trigger safty

ok folks, heres a real frustrating problem.
i dissambled my trigger group for the first time today. when i tried to put it back together, the saftey spring simply wont stay in the slot, its keep poping out once i put the safty in place
AAARRRRR And suggestion guys?
