M14 UTG Leapers rail - where?

Hi All

I'm looking at picking up an M14 Leapers UTG rail to mount a red-dot on my Norinco M14. Any ideas where to get them in Canada?

I called Optics Planet, they didn't know if it would be ITAR regulated unless I placed an order.

I called Leapers, they said it WAS ITAR regulated...

Any Canadian suppliers? Has anyone ordered it successfully through the states?

I got mine a few years ago on eBay for $80. I don't think it illegal to get them shipped out of the US

Same, got mine a few months ago from Opsgear no problem. Perfect for my Aimpoint red-dot.

I ended picking one up from fellow CGNer rdelliot. It works great! Really stable as far as I can tell. I have a bushnell T25 on it, and I am really happy with the UTG mount.

I was out shooting factory and handloads last weekend, and was hitting the chicken at 200m (a small chicken shaped gong) and the 300m gongs easily. Definitely ready for hunting season... now to load more ammo.

Same, got mine a few months ago from Opsgear no problem. Perfect for my Aimpoint red-dot.

Opsgear for me too. Still sitting in the box though until I can get around to cleaning all this cosmoline off my shorty...
