Hello; I,ve purchased my norc m14s from milarm 2 weeks ago, been out to range and am putting rounds(surplus) into a 6 inch grouping using stock iron sights. After first 20 or so.200yards. I am sincerely interested in doing a bush gun out of this sweet rifle, 350 yards max and use a bolt action for any longer range shots. I have been reading about Hungry out east and ACP45KINg ,west of us have frequent workshops to help educate those of us who like to do there own work, but would like the security of learning from those experianced. So My question is this; Any of you regular battle rifle contributors willing to come to Calgary(or vicinity)Anybody in calgary willing to start a m14 forum.Maybe we can get a workshop.
P.S.
I am using a lenovo comput:ar15:er that I recieved as a bonus for being a valued client of Telus comunications and its keyboard has some idiosyncrasys (É is the symbol for question mark, è is what I get for apostrophy) so thanx in advance for spelling tips

I'm only a few hours from Calgary, and hope to have an M14 in a week or so. I know next to *nothing* regarding gunsmithing of any sort, so I might be interested in something like this.

PS
jabberjaw, I sent you a PM re: your keyboard problems

Dude, it's because your keyboard is set to Canadian. MS windows assumes that if your in Canada you type in French. Change your keyboard and regional settings. Keyboard set it to US101 and you should be fine.

Fellas:

I wanted to get out in August, but the new subdivision house I'm moving into will be requiring a lot more of my attention than I originally estimated. Finishing a basement always does this to ya. I really planned on doing a road trip swing, but my time is very finite.

Peace out.
