Sell your M14S as is. Less fuss. The parts aren't especially expensive nor difficult to come by.
Go buy a copy of The ABC's of Reloading. Then go talk to your local gun shop about an RCBS Beginner's Kit. Gives you everything you need less dies and shell holder. Runs about $500. Buying used is an option too, but you'll pay more if you buy the equipment separately. You really have to work at damaging modern loading kit.
RCBS isn't the only game in town, but their warrantee is outstanding. Have any problems, they'll fix it. Even if you caused the damage or bought used with a phone call.
You can load the .308 and .45 on the same press, but the 12 ga. requires a different press. Shotgun presses aren't as expensive as metallic reloading presses are.
To load for a semi-auto rifle, you must use a Full Length sizer die every time. The .45 is best done with carbide sizer die and uses a taper crimp only. A lot of feeding issues go away by taper crimping a .45.

thanks, i will try to pick up the book. the m14/m1a parts in general aren't hard to come by, but to get a company from the states to export is. i have a few companies that will sell me anything. as long as it is legal and under $100. i have 2 m14s one kept gi and a, what i like to call a m21c (maybe a m21 chinese). a few mods and a scope. was just thinking out loud and wanted to see if there was a market. if we could send to the states wouldn't even be a question. thank you for your time. i greatly appreciate it.

if i go ahead i'm thinking around $200/$300. witch i think is fair, but if i do i can nagotiate or trade. hell i don't even no how it works with the fed's. if you are intrtested and if and when i make up my mind, i'll let every one no. but i hope you weren't think i was just letting it go ($20/$50). would seriously consider a good trade. surplus 7.62 what ever. but like i said i'm torn right now. i love both rifles. if you own a m14 or a m1 you no what i'm talking about. thanks i'll keep you posted.
