I ordered one of the M14's from Marstar and was wondering about their shipping arrangement.

The reason I ask is any other gun I have bought usually comes before I get the White RCMP letter stating that it is safe to take possession of the firearm.

I received the above stated letter in the mail yesterday for the M14 but have not even been notified that the rifle has been sent or is being sent. Is this normal for Marstar?

Came same day for me, just picked up my m14 today. Marstar didn't charge me until the day it shipped, maybe check to see if they've charged you yet? Sometimes the CFC is super fast and Canada Post is not... so who knows.

You be ok bud....They are stupid busy. Expect a nice delivery notice very soon. They (marstar) have your info and you don't need to complete the transfer from them (The man).

I wouldn't be overly concerned about Marstar. They are good people, John especially. He is one of the only dealers I know that will degrease an M14 himself before he ships it out. He absolutely refuses though to put the stock in his wife's dishwasher.:D

I got my rifles almost four weeks ago. The transfer notification (buyer) from the CFC was included in the invoice package from Marstar. This allows me to take possession. You'll find your certificate numbers and firearms ID number on that form.

They must be mighty backed up though. I've never waited this long to get the actual registration certificates after notice of transfer. Still haven't got them, and it's going on a month as of Friday.

John did his part well back, and before shipping. The holdup is at the CFC.

I was not worried as Johnone has a great reputation on the board (by most who deal with him). I was just curious if others had experienced the same thing.

I understand how busy they could be trying to get the crates of M14's out the door. Just glad I got one in time :D

I got my notice in the mail that I have a package at CP but I won't be able to get it until Saturday. I am sure it is the M14 as I don't recall waiting for anything else to come via mail.

My transfer notice was received on Dec 19-2007, and a registration certificate dated DEC 26-2007, I still do not have the firearm, I am hoping for something soon.

Took delivery of quite a few M-14s four weeks ago. Got the certs today. The call last week must've lit a fire under someone.

Don't feel bad . I ordered a skid of ammo a week before Christmas and it showed up today . I don't think I have ever seen a post praising Marstar on there fast shipping (lol) But it's hard to beat there prices so I'm not complaining
