Hey I'm new here, so I'm not really sure if this is the best place to put this. I was wondering if it's possible to make an m16 style 10/22, I know the nordic chassis can use ar parts, but is it possible to put an a2 stock and hanguard on it?

There are various fake-AR-15 stocks for the 10/22 around, but if you're starting to get particular about which generation of AR then you're also going to run up against it still being evident that there's a 10/22 hiding inside there.

I had a 10/22 clone with an ar stock on it, but I just really like the look of the a2 stock and hanguard. so I was just wondering, is it possible to fit the a2 buttstock on the nordic chassis?

Not familiar with the Nordic chassis particularly, but there are a number of them out there that have the threaded socket in the back to take an AR buffer tube (no spring required) and AR stock on that, and usually then also take an AR grip just aft of the trigger guard. That gives those chassis makers access to a huge aftermarket of AR parts, and everyone is particular about the human-interface parts because of different length-of-pull and hand shapes and what feels right. I have had a chance to work with the chassis Dlask is presently selling and it's one of that sort.

Didn’t Squires and Birmingham make a look alike ? May have been banned
They aren’t banned but they also don’t fit M16 parts.
I did fit a M4 carry handle to mine with dovetail adapters but it really isn’t anything like a true M4 or M16.
The safety is awkward and up on the tube reciever. And the stock is painted wood. The hand guard is weird and stamped metal.

100%. For the stock make sure you get mil-spec buffer tube. The Nordic and SR22 chassis are identical save for some branding. The barrel nut may require some heat to remove as ruger uses a bit of loc-tite on it.
