M1911 Ambi Safety Reccomendations

My wife would like me to add an ambi safety to her Norinco m1911 but I’ve never done one before and was wondering what pitfalls I should watch out for.

Can anyone make a recommendation on a safety that’s likely to fit without much tinkering?

Her 1911 is a standard plain jane government model in 45ACP.

My favorite is the SIG 1911 ambi.
It's held on by an extended sear pin and the thumb pad is real nice if you ride the safety.
Or maybe some gunsmith has an extra Norc ambi safety laying around.
