Personally, in Colt, anything Series '70 and pre models going right back to the original commerical models get me excited.

On the Colt 1911... Where to start... Do you mean the original 1911 commercials? Do you mean the 1911 US Army/Navy versions.... So you mean the transitional model [going from 1911 to 1911A-1] between WWI and WWII.... Do you mean the WWII Colt USGI 1911A-1's.... ........![]()
