Had the chance to take it out today and do some serious playing around.
First Off I want to say I wish I would have bought one of these sooner than I had. They are alot of fun, accurate and recoil quite lite. Second I wish I would have put some other projects on hold so I could have got this up and going sooner.
I did some research about loads, and went with Varget.
Pushed Varget and 168s from 40.5 to 45 grains, however 45 seemed hot so only fired 3.
43.0 grs of Varget pushing a 168 SMK with BR2 primers and Fed GMM cases just flat out works in my gun, and works well, started at 50 yards and moved to 100y
The only dissapointment was I could not keep the rail tite, however I did not take a srewdriver...
all and all, now teh decision will be to leave the scope mount on or not, it shot so well with the match irons, and it just looks classy with irons..
All and all, it surpassed my expectaions as a basic battle rifle, and I quickly realized its so much more than that. Once I plowed through 20-30 round the trigger started to feel good, and wa svery easy to catch onto...
Sub moa with a scope at 100 for 3 shots and 1.5 moa with the irons, and I know it will do better than that.
I am hooked! Now I want a second one lol!!!
