I'm trying to find a stock similar to the one the springfield M1A tactical comes in (the nice walnut one with the adjustable cheek reset)

I didn't have the money for an M1A so i have a norinco but i hate the synthetic stock it came with.

Any aftermarket quality wood stocks would be acceptable even without the adjustable bit

Their pictures suck...their stocks are beautiful!

Just do a site search for Boyds M-14 on this site, and you'll see many very nice pictures right here...especially on the pics threads.

Or just follow this thread:

Boyds it out of the finished walnut stocks at this time. To the guys who bought them, was there any other finishing to do other than possibly putting a block in for the shorter Nork spring guide pin? I know I will have to install my own metal hardware.

Thanks

boyds also had the 'tactical' stock with the adjustable cheek rest at the time i ordered mine, but it was around 250-300 i think so it was over the limit and they won't ship.
