Hi guys hoping to pick some brains here . I have an M1 carbine that shoots high with rear sight at its lowest setting . does anyone know if you can get varying height front sight (like Lee enfield )
to correct this . ? or any other Ideas

If it is shooting high you need a taller front sight blade. M1 carbines front sights were originally made with a high blade which could be filed down to adjust the zero. Short of finding and installing a new front sight, which can be a PITA w/o the proper removal and installation tools, you could build the blade up and then file it down.

The other thing is the sight picture. If you use the 100 yd rear sight setting you should probably look for a zero which puts your bullets 2-3 inches high@ 50 yds with a 6 o'clock/bottom of the bull sight picture.
