M203 cert request

Howdy. I know I'm asking for something a bit sensitive, but I'll ask anyway.

What I am hoping to obtain is, a copy/pic/fax, of someone's registration certificate for an M203 40mm launcher. I understand if all the individual information is blanked out.

Other than the FRT stuff on the disk, which is obtainable, I was hoping to find a copy or actual cert for the M203 for someone who has gone through "the process" to register one of the many m203s in this country.

Are they even considered a firearms? Muzzle velocity is under 500fps from what I've read about the launcher.

Yes, they are firearms. Reclassified because the sub-cal inserts bring the muzzle velocity of 500 fps.

I saw one for sale a while ago and it stated that it transfers as non restricted. I would have bought it but too much money, would have looked great on my 6920.

I was hoping not to get this into an M203 discussion thread. There is too much speculation that goes with it.

If I can find a copy of a cert., that would be nice.

I could be wrong but I belive the only inserts for the 37 so far are for using the 12ga flares. Nothing that uses munitions yet.... and as long as it stays that way it's probably safe.

They reclassed them because they identified the shotgun round was capable of over 500fps, is my understanding. BTW being classed as guns helps with imports.
