M24 build

I don't usually peruse this forum but I was wondering, if I was going to attempt an M24 build where would I find the long action HS stock? I know there are quite a few 700p takeoffs but there all short actions. Any dealers who could get one?

But yeah tempted to turn a .270 700 action thats been sitting into an M24 look-alike.

Just saw one LA HS Precision stock in the EE Forum Parts and Bits last week. Keep looking there. Be patient. They do turn up. It was around $ 300 plus or minus IIRC.

Good luck with your "journey" on the build. Post some pics when you are done! I would love to see these builds!

^1 yes this forum does look like quite the money pit... Moving up from a sporter enfield and cooey .22 to precision rifles is gonna be hard on reservist pay with tuition. Fudd guns get boring after awhile and black rifles, pistols and blackpowder aren't my niche but damn I've been a fan of precision rifles specially the M24 since I was kid. To many good memories in various Battlefield iterations.
