M27 links

Do you mean Mosins? If so, then the EE here and that's about it.

If you mean disintegrating 5.56 links, then also, likely no retailers have them.

I just received a 1000-lot of new M27 links from the 3rd Party Importer whose name shall not be uttered on CGN. It took a couple of months for them to do the import of the links, but they came through. You can buy them in 500-link bags and the price is very reasonable. Go to "Magazines" on the "A z t e c h A r m o u r y" website.

For those of us who own Fightlight MCRs, there is plenty of point to ordering M27 links....

Sent an email as I don't see them listed.

How do you find it functions without the green tips fightlite says it was designed to run?

Would be nice if they made an upper for one of our non restricted lowers

Interesting rifle you got there Bartok5

put a snap cap every 5rnds.

go ahead, and you have assembled a prohibited device you might get off in court years and several hundred thousand $ later

if you just want to make up a display belt get some 30.06 links for the 1919 NOT the .308 as they are 5 rnds too

stupid laws....

My MCR functions 100% from magazines with 55 gr FMJ ammo. Not so much when linked, however due to frequent misfeeds. Stick to 62gr FMJ for reliable belt-feed. My MCR has been 100% reliable firing linked 62gr ammo IAW Fightlite's recommendations.

Surplus store are all breaking the law then with linked empty casings if that was the case. Not saying a police officer won't take issue with it. But you are going to get the riot act no matter what when stopped with a belt fed.

That doesn’t change anything. That’s like unpinning a 5/30 mag and putting in 25 snap caps and saying “see? It still only holds 5 rounds of ammo”.

No

If I remove the snap caps from the belt, I am left with 5rnd feeding devices. If I remove the snap caps from a detachable box magazine, you are still left with an unpinned over capacity magazine

Yes, they probably are, and they’re probably not aware they’re doing it either. And a police officer probably wouldn’t even know it’s illegal, and if they did they probably wouldn’t care because they have more important things to do.

That is true. But we’re talking about you creating prohibited devices, not creating legal ones. Putting one snap cap in a belt doesn’t turn the feeding device into two feeding devices. It’s stupid, utterly unenforceable, but still illegal.

my real world experience with this exact scenario is different, it was actually someone of authority that suggested and sighted that if it was empty cases or inert rounds, it is no longer a feeding device. If it was, simply having the disintegrating links would be illegal as you could put live ammo in them just like an over capacity magazine.
