M305 barrel set screw

Finally getting around to my idf build, I got the screw out that holds the barrel to the receiver. The barrel is off too, but I don’t really care for the hole that left open. Has anyone plugged the hole and used locitite to lock it in?

Just looking for suggestion to take care of it.

File off the bottom of the screw and re-install it.

Put a little bit of paper backer into the hole and fill the top with a devcon like substance. This should allow the hole to be filled with-out additional by any difficulty when installing the next barrel.

What I like to do is have the reciever annealed, the hole welded, and then reheatreated. This would also neccisitate the reciever to be parkerized etc.

Yeah I've plugged a few holes in my time.

I just tossed the screw, probably could have sold it on the EE
