I did the same thing, didn't realize there was already a writeup. But yeah, the bolt stop just needs to rotate up further. Problem solved.

One of the first things I did when I got my Norky 14S home was to smash my finger. And I'm a vet who had an issue USGI for three years! D'fuq? That never happened with my old one. With this one I stick an empty stripper clip in there to prevent any surprises when I'm cleaning with no mag in place.
Where did you get your "tactical" release? Easy install?

I picked up the release off the EE from Hungry. Very easy install .

And that would have been my next move. But I'm from the "I want it now" generation, so I figured I'd see if I could do it myself. And yes Sporting Lad, I removed the stop before filing. I didn't have a punch that would fit, so I fashioned one out of a precision screwdriver from the dollar store I had laying around.
