M305 GAS cylinder

Just wondering if a USGI or Springfield M1A gas cylinder fit on my M305, I have a new m305 which looks like a small stress crack in the gas cylinder. Thanks

I think it should fit, but if you get one you will need a USGI/American gas piston as well.

Send the rifle back to where ever you got it from and get a replacement!

Fitting a USGI gas cylinder assy on a Norc is a PITA. You will need the whole assembly... cylinder, piston, gas plug, valve etc. and it takes some fitting to boot.

Ask me how I know.

May not. One of my pistons is a bit loose (no vacuum on the tilt test). It should fit nicely in a USGI cylinder

Fitting should not be an issue, you MAY need a USGI piston (should be slow moving with tilt test), just remember to keep your Norinco cylinder lock.

I have a complete m305 cylinder with pistons (usgi/norc) gas locks (usgi/norc) and shims....
