I am trying to get a 18.5 shorty done from a M305 and finding it hard to get a gas lock front site..... I figured that I would phone Marstar and see if they have any ideas and they said that they should have them instock next week!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently they have a machinist (made the machined stock) and he is making Gas Lock front Sites, Bolt Releases, & Titanium OP Rods.
I asked how much for the GLFS and he said $90 made in Canada for the M305 (proper threads) and it will be hardened and have a parked finish.
I inquired also to the chances that there would be a dovetail GLFS and he said that might be something for the future but right now the Fixed loop site was all that was currently incomming.
I know nothing else - other than he said end of next week they should be instock.....
So if you are looking for a GLFS - there you go..... end of next week call Marstar and order away....
